The 2nd Annual Reclaim Your Domain Hackathon

November 22nd and 23rd, 2014 University of Mary Washington

A group of committed educators and programmers will be convening at University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, VA for a hackathon to extend and develop the ideas around "Reclaim Your Domain". Specific focus will be on hacking an infrastructure for syndicating, securing and managing third-part service data, as well as working together to clearly articulate the rationale and vision for this work.

These efforts build on an array of ongoing initiatives, as well as this summer's hackathon in Los Angeles and last year's hackathon at MIT, where Reclaim Your Domain was conceived.

The event will bring together people who have made impressive progress in these areas, though there is still a great deal of thinking, sharing, and creating to be done.

Location and Directions

We will be at the new IT Convergence Center on the Fredericksburg Campus of the University of Mary Washington. Parking is available in the visitor lot at the top of the parking deck off Alvey Drive. We will spend time primarily in room 407 with breakout groups in other spaces around DTLT's office.
